SPH publication Business Times has been rapped by the vindictive PAP regime for embarassing it by using the wrong figures in its article two days ago on the profit margins made by private developers in the building of DBSS flats. According to the initial report, Sim Lian Group will be reaping a shocking 75.8 percent gross profit margin from its sales of Centrale 8: “But in some cases, DBSS margins were even higher. Sim Lian Group, for example, stands to make a gross profit margin of around 76 per cent from its recently launched Centrale 8 in Tampines – even after it announced prices that were lower than previously indicated.” The report was subsequently disputed by BG (NS) Tan Chuan-Jin who said that ”there are major errors in BT’s report”.
