iStartup program to bring Silicon Valley mentors to Singapore July 11, 2013 by Terence LEE When it comes to startup programs, ‘Silicon Valley’ is an automatic draw. That’s exactly what iStartup , a new initiative that aims to impact knowledge about the art and science of entrepreneurship, is banking on. Jointly organized by think-tank Art+Data Institute and Singapore business incubator iAxil, iStartup will feature Silicon Valley coaches and mentors like TrailerPop founder Jon Vlassopulos , serial entrepreneur Mark Sigal , video analytics practitioner Phillip Alvelda , and Roger Wood , founder of Art+Data Institute and a former senior VP at SingTel-acquired Amobee. More mentors from United States and Asia will be announced in the future.
