Yinglan Tan, former projects head at NRF, joins Sequoia Capital India as venture partner July 19, 2012 by Terence LEE Yinglan Tan , head of projects at the National Research Foundation and author of Chinnovation , a book on Chinese innovators, has left the Singapore government organization to tackle a new challenge: Become venture partner at Sequoia Capital India . He announced his new post, which is effective from July, on LinkedIn . He is still based in Singapore. Sequoia Capital is one of the most influential venture capital firms in Silicon Valley. Its past investments have included Google, Yahoo, Paypal, Electronic Arts, NVIDIA, Cisco Systems, Oracle, Apple, YouTube, Admob and Zappos.
